BLKLST didn't start in a boardroom. It started with two kids who wouldn't take no for an answer.

Ethan and Liam weren't waiting around for someone to hand them an opportunity. They were building something — a brand with its own rules, its own look, its own reason for existing. They had the vision. The drive. The kind of relentless work ethic that makes you uncomfortable if you've been coasting.

When they crossed paths with Todd, he wasn't expecting to be impressed. He was wrong.

Not by a pitch deck. Not by a five-year forecast. By the way they moved. The way they talked about what they were trying to build. You don't often see that combination of hunger and clarity — in most adults, let alone in two young guys just getting started.

Todd made a call. Connected them with a designer who speaks the language — someone who understands that streetwear isn't just clothing, it's a position. A statement worn on the outside. The three of them went to work.
